Cedar Walton
I was inspired to play the bass when my dad took me to hear The Cedar Walton Trio with Ron Carter and Billy Higgins at Sweet Basil in 1989. My love for for Cedar's compostions and piano playing has only grown since.
The Artisans' Trio got together to play for the Vineyard Artisans' Festival, Summer, '04. We returned in '05.
Lance Murphy -- a colleague since we played together in the NYC All-City High School Jazz Band -- plays tenor sax and Diasuke Kurata is on drums.
